When darkness falls and I light my own sun
Darkness descends over the North; that’s when the light within us gets the chance to shine even brighter. Light therapy, vitamin D. Oh yes! And a darkness that says, “I’ll get you later.”

When darkness falls 🌬 and I light my own sun
Darkness falls over the country. Like a heavy blanket settling over town and country.
When I sense the darkness, it almost feels like something tangible, as if I could touch it with my own hands. Like its own heavy, enveloping frequency.
A darkness that doesn't lift you up, but rather a darkness that closes in like a cage around the country, around your life.
I'm not a fan of the dark time of year. That's when I bring out my lamp.
I am a “solar” person; I draw energy from the sun. The sun is more than just a beautiful ball of fire. In ancestral, esoteric, and true teachings, the sun is seen and regarded as an intelligent consciousness that can communicate with us through its radiant golden light. The sun gives us life, warmth, and all the beauty we see and experience. It does not create all the beauty on Earth in tangible form, but it is part of all living things.
When the sun shines its beautiful light on physical objects—the elements of the Earth—their incredible colors and shades come to life, and our soul feels, “Mmm, how beautiful.”
Without the sun, everything is gray; all colors are gray. We have our electric lights, which in a way mimic the sun’s light and bring out colors and shades. But they’re never as beautiful as the sun makes them.
Yeah, my 10,000-lux light therapy lamp—I let my system, my biological body, wake up to it. After a little while, a signal spreads through me: HEY, IT’S MORNING, WAKE UP, YOU HEAR ME! 🥰 My energy starts to flow, and my strength returns. My hair comes to life, too—tiny strands reaching toward my light therapy lamp. The darkness takes a step back and says, “Okay then, you do you. I’ll get you later.” 😂 The next step in my morning routine is a really potent vitamin D supplement that’s perfect for me—made specifically for us northerners.
If the sun comes out, I sit on my porch for a while with a glass of water and breathe in my sacred sun code straight from the sun. I live a kind of hybrid pranic lifestyle. It’s pretty simple, but at the same time very complex—as most things in the depths of consciousness are. I’ll tell you more about it later in my blog.
I let the sun bathe me in its golden light; I see rainbows reflected in the sun’s rays; I feel the infinite love from the sun, which I love back unconditionally. Not the way I love a human being—it’s a different kind of love. The love of the soul.
But then there’s the darkness—the Scandinavian darkness—which, for me, sometimes takes it all, or almost all of it, anyway. When the days grow short, my body searches for the light outside.
That’s when the impenetrable Scandinavian darkness draws me deep within myself, and I ignite my own sun in my solar plexus. A light that comes from within. Building an inner system of light within one’s own inner energy map takes time and requires mastering certain skills, reprogramming some old patterns, and daring to step outside the box that says: “This is possible; this is impossible.”
The time for the boxes is coming to an end, but the light continues—and apparently so does the darkness 🌬🌑☀️🌛
The next time the sun peeks out, if you want to, forget everything you’ve learned about what the sun is. Gently open up and let its rays embrace you in total bliss.
With light and love for your day
